Environment: Driving and operating a mixer truck for a Pre-cast Concrete Company

Job Scope/Duties:
This is a full time position that allows you to become part of a team.
- Safely operate a mixer truck to transport concrete materials within the precast concrete yard.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the mixer truck to ensure proper functioning of all mechanical and safety components.
- Ensure proper weight distribution and securement of materials to prevent shifting or spillage during transit.
- Operate the mixer drum to mix concrete materials to the desired consistency and quality standards.
- Monitor the mixing process and adjust water, aggregates, and other additives as necessary to achieve the specified concrete mix design.
- Deliver mixed concrete to production areas or designated pouring locations within the yard according to schedule and production requirements.
- Report any deviations from quality standards or issues with concrete consistency to supervisors or quality control personnel.
- Report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions to maintenance personnel for timely repair and resolution.
- Keep the mixer truck clean, organized, and properly maintained to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- This position will also require some general labor when not driving, driving will not be full time
- Drivers will be responsible for upkeep of trucks and assisting with pours in a safe and efficient manner.

Work Experience Required
6 months of experience driving a ready mix, dump truck, or similar vehicle (OK to RS amount of exp)
Must have experience doing manual labor
(MUST BE OKAY with doing labor work, will drive but also do labor work)
Must be able to drive a mixer truck
Must be able to drive a manual transmission
This position will require a drug screen and physical exam
Valid Regular class drivers license required

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform physical labor (lift over 50 lbs, stand, kneel, reach)

Shifts/Hours:
Mon - Fri,  7:00 to 3:30 with possible overtime

Pay: $18.00 an hour
Up to $1125 w/55 hours/week
****** $300.00 CASH BONUS per full month of perfect attendance
