Savard is hiring a Class A CDL Driver for work in/near Odessa, TX for Job #18645

Job Scope/Duties:
Unload or assist in unloading material as required
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations
• Fuel the truck as necessary
• Report any vehicle problems, moving violations, accidents, and defects to the Supervisor 
• Work overtime as needed

Work experience required:
Must have at least 3 years recent, verifiable CDL experience.
Must have experience driving 18-speed
Oversize load experience preferred but not required.

Other Requirements:
Pass a DOT physical
DOT Alcohol screen
DOT Drug screen
MVR pull- No more than 2 moving violation in the past 12 months
Clearinghouse Registration
Must pass background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Lifting 20-pound objects constantly; 50-pound objects frequently; and 100- pound objects occasionally are required
• Climbing ladders, stairs, and ramps
• Balancing
• Pushing and pulling
• Stooping, crouching, and keeling
• Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification exam

Shifts/Hours:
Monday - Friday, some weekends
5 am to 10 pm when out on job site
7 am to 3 pm at shop-when not on site drivers will maintenance their trucks at shop.
Max hours 60

Pay: $25 to $34 DOE
Up to $2380 w 60 hours/ week
