Savard is hiring a Welder for work in Beaumont, TX for Job #19472.

Job description:
Welders are required to be safety minded, highly productive experts who can cut, fit, and tack weld all parts of heat exchangers, vessels, and towers
Ability to read prints for both required specifications as well as dimensions, weld within the parameters of a WPS/PQR, Skills in arc gouging process, consistently maintain less than a 5% X-Ray repair rate, be efficient at fixing X-Ray and UT repairs, recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality

Requirements:
Must have 3 years’ experience welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components
Moderate knowledge and ability to weld with some, but not all, of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW thermal processes in the manufacturing of various types of pressure vessels and heat exchangers

Other requirements:
10 panel
QBG
Physical 50 lb lift
Respirator FIt Test
Audiogram (audio and vision)
Valid ID
Ability to pass a weld qualification test to acquire code stamp

Shift:
Night shift (x2)
Regular days
Monday to Friday
10 hour shifts
Weekends as needed

Pay :
Regular Nights $26.00 to $29.00 pr hr
Regular Days $24.00 to $27.00 pr hr
Up to $1595 w 50 hours/ week
